On September 7^th participants of the Valdai International Discussion Club will deliver open lectures at the HSE.

4.30-6.00 p.m. ‘Russian history, geography and future',

Speaker - Dominic Lieven, prominent historian, leading British specialist in Russian history professor of Russian History, Head of Department of International History, The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

6.30-8.00 p.m. ‘How the "5-day war"has transformed the bilateral US-Russia relationship'

Speaker - Samuel Charap, leading American expert on Russian affairs, Associate Director for Russia and Eurasia, a member of the National Security and International Policy team at American Progress.
