The 1stInternational Russia Longitudinal Monitoring Survey of HSE User Conference will take place on May 17 and 18, 2013 at Higher School of Economics, Moscow.
The aim of the conference is to provide a forum for the discussion of research based on the Russia Longitudinal Monitoring Survey of HSE. Researchers for all disciplines (e.g. economics, demography, sociology, political sciences, public health, and psychology) who use the RLMS-HSE or the Russian part of the Cross-National Equivalent Files (CNEF) are invited to submit an abstract. Priority will be given to papers using the longitudinal features of the data and papers that provide cross-national comparisons.
Keynote Speakers : We are happy to announce as keynote speakers:
- Klara Sabirianova Peter - Assistant Professor of Economics, Department of Economics, Carolina Population Center University of North Carolina—Chapel Hill, USA
- Dean Lillard - Associate Professor, Department of Human Sciences and Director and Project Manager of the Cross-National Equivalent File Study, Ohio State University, USA
Submission: Researchers desiring to present their work at this meeting are required to submit a complete draft paper (or an extended abstract) by March 25, 2013. Junior researchers should also submit their vitae.
In the case of multiple authors, please indicate the corresponding author who would be presenting the paper.
Extended Abstracts: Should be between two and three pages in length and should make clear what the purposes of the proposed paper are and how the RLMS-HSE data will be used.
Papers/abstracts must include:
- Title of presentation
- Three to five key words
- Contact person's name, title, organization affiliation, address, telephone, fax number, and email address
- Co-authors names and affiliations
Please submit electronic versions of papers/abstracts no later than March 25th, 2013 to: eblagodeteleva@hse.ru. Submitters will be notified on acceptance of their paper by April 5th, 2013
Financial Support: Higher School of Economics will provide 3 nights of lodging, lunches and dinners at the conference venue. The cost of airfare will not be covered.
