HSE Graduates Can Receive Diplomas in Business Analysis

‘Informational Business Analytics’, a specialization of the Master’s Programme in Business Informatics, has been accredited by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). Now all graduates of the programme have the opportunity to obtain a professional diploma in business analysis without the need for additional training.

‘The HSE has become the first Russian academic partner of the International Institute of Business Analysis. We have been using the institute’s reference materials for a long time while training Master’s students, and we look forward to further cooperation within the framework of our new Master’s Programme in Big Data Systems,’ says Michael Komarov, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Business Informatics.

He also mentioned that this is not the first accreditation project for the HSE’s programmes in business informatics. Several years ago, the faculty validated a double degree programme with the Lancaster University Management School (LUMS), which is accredited by the Institute of Certified E-Commerce Consultants and the American Academy of Project Management. In 2013, the Master’s Programme in E-Business was also successfully accredited.

Such accreditation allows graduates to receive a professional certificate in addition to their diploma. Graduates of the Master’s Programme in E-Business can receive the following certificates without any additional training: CEC ™ Certified E-Commerce Consultant and PME Project Manager E-Business. Bachelor’s programme graduates can receive the CEA ™ Certified e-Marketing Analyst. These certificates, which are highly valued by employers, are issued by the American Academy of Project Management and the Institute of Certified E-Commerce Consultants.
