Tea Ceremony, Naruto and Norigae: HSE Celebrates Year of the Green Wood Dragon
On the day of the second new moon after the winter solstice, the HSE Cultural Centre welcomed admirers of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese cultures. HSE students, teachers, and guests celebrated the Lunar New Year with South Korean hit songs and popular anime openings. They attended calligraphy and origami classes, tried regional sweets, and had Far Eastern teas. The festival ended with a big concert.

On February 10, 2024, HSE Cultural Center hosted a large-scale celebration of the Eastern New Year, organized by professors of the School of Asian Studies and students of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs.
Latin America took the center of the stage during the 5th International Conference “The World Majority in New Realities: the Regional Dimension”
On December 1st, the School of Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of the HSE University received Latin American diplomats and scholars to conduct a debate the role of the region in the formation of a multipolar world. The debate “Latin America in the Context of Formation of the World Multipolarity” was held under the auspices of the 5th International Conference “The World Majority in New Realities: the Regional Dimension”.

On April 6, 2023, an open seminar was held at the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs within the framework of the project “India and the challenges of Global Politics”, which was devoted to the Indian view of the US-Chinese competition in the international arena.
