Diploma: Lomonosov Moscow State University (graduated in 1963)

Area of expertise

  • fair division
  • automated classification
  • image processing

2010 research results

  • Examination of the Brams-Taylor model of fair division for two players behavior, when both divisible and indivisible items exist
  • Development of a new divisive-agglomerative classification algorithm, based on combining frequency approach and the stochastic stability of classifications
  • A way of imaging local analysis, based on modifying the closeness measures of the two local brightness curves

Current research

  • Examination of the Brams-Taylor model of fair division in the case of an arbitrary number of players
  • Experimental examination of the developed classification algorithm involving a real data set in order to evaluate the dynamics of analyzed processes.
  • Applying methods of artificial intelligence to generalize from local analysis to global analysis of certain image classes
