Data on Movement of election observers in Russia

Election observation itself is not a new phenomenon for Russian society, the scale of this practice has dramatically expanded recently – hundreds of thousands of domestic election observers across the country took part in federal electoral campaign.

Center for Studies of Civil Society and Nonprofit Sector conducted series of surveys to understand: 1) What are the factors of emergence of mass people’s participation in domestic election observation in Russia? 2) How does this activity develop? 3) What is the composition of its participants? 4) And, of course, what is the significance of it in terms of impact on the development of civil society and democracy?
