Graduate programmes at HSE prepare students in specific areas of expertise so that upon graduating they possess skills and competencies that are highly sought after in the international job market. Classroom instruction is combined with experience-based learning through internships at major research centres, corporations, and organizations in Russia and around the world.
How to Apply
International applicants may apply by submitting a portfolio that includes documents such as academic transcripts and a letter of motivation. An online application form will be available on this site starting November 1, 2016.
Applications may be submitted in English or in Russian.
November 1, 2016 – July 15, 2017 online applications may be submitted for preliminary selection; online (and in-person) candidate interviews will be held with programme teams.
July 15, 2017 – August 25 submission of all supporting documents.
Deadline for signing agreements and enrollment forms.
*Please note that some programmes begin on October 1, 2017. For these programs, the deadline for submitting all supporting documents is September 25, 2017, and the deadline for signing all agreements and enrollment forms is September 30, 2017.
International students can apply to study at HSE for free through full-tuition scholarships. This merit-based scholarship will completely waive all tuition fees for select full-degree programmes at HSE.
