Публикуем небольшую заметку еще одного нашего иностранного студента из Ирана - Даниала Хатай, который подготовил исследование на тему "Saudi-Iranian Regional Rivalry in the Context of the Abraham Accords"

In university most of the time I tried taking additional history courses and always wrote my essays on historical topics. I chose my final thesis topic on this theme (Saudi-Iranian Regional Rivalry in the Context of the Abraham Accords) because I wanted it to be something that needs both historical research and current analysis of events and also is very relevant to future of the Middle East. I want to continue my education at HSE and maybe write my masters thesis on the Middle East as well. I think the best thing about our program is the professors and how some courses connect very well with each other. In my final thesis I used IR theories I learned from Prof. Krickovic and Dr. Skriba, history of the Arab-Israeli conflict that was taught to us by Dr. Iserov and methodology tips from Prof. Puzanova's history course. My guiding professor Prof. Chuprygin is a leading Russian Arabist and this increased mental pressure on me to get all the small details on Saudi Arabia right; this really helped me in my defense when I was asked about Saudi cooperation with China.
