Семинар по когнитивным исследованиям - доклад М. Феурра
Очередное заседание семинара состоится 7 ноября в 18:00 в здании департамента психологии НИУ ВШЭ (Армянский переулок, д. 4, стр. 2), ауд. 209. Доцент департамента психологии М. Феурра представит доклад на тему "Introduction to Non Invasive Brain Stimulation techniques: a focus on neuroenhancement" ("Введение в методы неинвазивной стимуляции мозга: фокус на усилении нейронной активности"). Это заседание семинара пройдёт на английском языке.
Тезисы доклада:
Noninvasive Brain Stimulation (NIBS) such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) or Transcranial Electrical Stimulation (tDCS, tRNS, tACS) represent a valuable tool in research and have potential therapeutic applications in cognitive neuroscience, neurophysiology, psychiatry, and neurology. TMS allows neurostimulation and neuromodulation, while TES is a purely neuromodulatory application. TMS and tDCS allow diagnostic and interventional neurophysiology applications, and focal neuropharmacology delivery. However, the physics and basic mechanisms of action remain incompletely explored. However recent evidence show that NIBS can be also an optimal tool to induce neuro-enhancement effects, namely an increase of cortical activity thereby of motor and cognitive abilities.
