Reception.
On the evening of the first conference day we are inviting all participants to the reception in celebration of the 10th Anniversary of ESLP. The reception will take place on the conference venue. We will have a live band and some vine and snacks.

During the tour, you will experience “Moscow in 3D”. We will show you the three epochs of the city: ancient, soviet, and contemporary. Do you travel often? Do you take photos near the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben or the Statue of Liberty? This tour is created for those who are in Moscow for the first time and also for those who have already been to Moscow but who would like to see the city from the three historically different points of view – ancient, soviet, and contemporary! We will travel to the medieval Moscow full of churches, monasteries, fortress and narrow streets. We will take a walk around the soviet city, discovering the secrets of the capital’s high-risers. You will discover how the houses were moved in order to make streets and avenues wider. You will also learn about the lifestyle and entertainment of Moscow citizens at this period. The third aspect of our journey will be contemporary Moscow, with its new streets and business empires!
On our tour around Moscow, we will talk about a whole variety of things from the history of Russian vodka to the events of the «Thaw» period (an important turning point in Soviet history that preceded the fall of the USSR). We will follow the lanes of Moscow central district from Kitaj-gorod to the oldest street of Moscow – Varvarka. We will discuss the modern project of “Zaryadye “district, remember the history of the capital’s high-risers and find ourselves on the Red Square. We will explore Red square, the Kremlin, St. Basil’s Cathedral, Nikolskaya street, GUM (State Department Store). You will learn where Leo Tolstoi wrote his “War and Peace”, who created the first perfume in Tsarist Russia, why Tverskaya street was the most fashionable street in the city, where all the Hollywood stars stay when they visit Moscow. We will pass through Kamergersky lane and Kuznetsky Most street to see how the city lives and breathes today. The most fashionable bars, restaurants, shops and walking routes will be on our way. We will finish our walk through Moscow in autumn on the rooftop of the largest toy store in Russia - Detsky Mir (The Children’s World) to get a bird’s-eye view of the capital!
Boat trip and dinner.
Onе of the greatest way to see Moscow is to take a boat trip. We are glad to announce that we plan a boat trip along Moskva river with dinner on board. The dinner is not included in participation fee and has to be payed separately.
The boat trip will take place on 11th of September after the conference. It will last for 4 hours. We will have a live band and a banquet.
