Course Syllabus

Abstract

The course provides contemporary business ethics and CSR knowledge and skills which is required by every manager: 1) good knowledge of basic ethical theory (utilitarianism, deontology) as well as CSR and sustainability concepts and ability to apply it to various business dilemmas; 2) understanding of psychological and situational reasonsfor unethical decisions and ability to work with these factors in practice? 3)ability to design and use of mechanisms of managing ethics in the market (competition, state and self-regulation) and in the company (compliance systems and sustainability management). Special class will be devoted to relationship between business and government.
