### Course Syllabus

#### Abstract

The discipline “Computational Methods and Network Computing” is devoted to studying some computational method and some technologies of the organization of network computing and some computational methods. The main principles of the distributed information computing are under consideration.

#### Learning Objectives

• Having finished the discipline the student should be able to use some well-known computational methods and have some ideas on the principles of network computing.

#### Expected Learning Outcomes

• The computational methods
• - the goals of the organization of distributed computing and computing systems; - types of distributed computing systems; - requirements for the organization of distributed calculations; - main methods and means of organization of distributed computing
• - the main concept of grid computing
• - the main concept of cloud computing
• - apply computational method in practical tasks; - formulate requirements to the organization of distributed calculations.
