Course Syllabus
Abstract
The two-module undergraduate course introduces the most basic concepts, terms, and methodology of micro- and macroeconomics, combined with an overview of the history of economic thought, as well as the economic theories and approaches to world history, which appear most relevant for the BA history students.
Learning Objectives
- Basic understanding of the economic fundamentals underlying the social reality in past and present
- Improved perception of paradigmatic literature on economic history
- Applying elements of economic analysis in own research
