Course Syllabus
Abstract
The course will survey macro-social theories with a special focus on comparative sociology and social development. The student will have to read about a hundred pages of texts each week and discuss them during the seminars. Additionally, the student will be appointed to serve as a discussion leader in selected sessions. The session appointments will be made in the first week of class. The course will conclude with a final exam administered in LMS.
