Course Syllabus

Abstract

In our course we start with a methodological framing of GR and lobbying, main actors of the processes, tactics and methods that they implement and ethical questions that these methods cause. We also touch the question of outside lobbying and the issues of lobbying in an international relations context. The second part of the course will be dedicated to the variety of national GR and lobbying traditions, including the most developed one in the US ending up to the peculiarities of lobbying in the Eastern European states. Finally we examine the developments of lobbying in Russia, mapping its main players, legislation base and perspectives.
