Программа дисциплины

Аннотация

Case solutions is a course designed for the students of B2 to C1 CEFR levels. The course is aimed at helping students upgrade their language, analytical and organizational skills while working on authentic business cases taken from professional fields related to their respective areas of concentration. Students will be expected to read extensively, analyze and interpret visual data, listen to interviews with top managers and business experts, be involved in class and group discussions, identify problems, offer solutions and defend them in group presentations and individual written assignments. In-class work relies mostly on teacherfacilitated collaborative approach in which students acquire and apply knowledge and skills both in the area of professional discourse and analytical and critical processes to define and solve realistic problems in collaboration with each other using a process of extended inquiry. Several rounds of case presentation contests will be held to identify the best teams which will take part in the international finale at the end of June.
