Abstract

Analysis and study of the application of modern digital technology to supply chain management and logistics activities and how these technologies change the supply chain management
Learning Objectives

Learning Objectives

  • The purpose of the course is to analyze the technologies which transform the SCM concept in digital SCM. The process of digital transformation of economics makes it valuable to be able to understand and apply new toolkit provided by information technologies
Expected Learning Outcomes

  • Formulate the main directions of digital transformation affecting SCM development
  • Explains how the blockchain technology works
  • Develops generic simulation models of logistics systems using blockchain technology as one of its components
  • Compare machine learning models. Identify the advantages and disadvantages of using solutions based on them
  • Explains the principles of 3D printing technology
  • Develops optimization models of logistics systems using SNO software
  • Compares the impact of different digital technologies on supply chain operations in business simulator environment
