The social psychology program at Higher School of Economics offers training in the psychological theories, principles, and research methods relevant to understanding the behavior of individuals and groups in social and organizational contexts. Social psychology is a broad field that includes the study of individuals' cognitions, feelings, and behaviours in self-reflection and interaction with others.

Attitudes and Social Cognition: addresses those domains of social behavior in which cognition plays a major role, including the interface of cognition with overt behavior, affect, and motivation. The main topics: person perception and social judgment; relational processes, inferences about self and other; spontaneous trait inference, culture and social, implicit/explicit attitudes, stereotypes, and prejudice; developmental social cognition and social categorization; interpersonal attraction, communication, emotion

Personality:identification,individual differences,significant others and the self, stress and coping, roles of emotion and motivation in self-regulation

Groups and societies: psychological and structural features of interaction in dyads and groups,entitativity,social influence, group decision making and task performance, group decisions, intergroup relationship
