Annotation:
Vaccination is an essential component of protecting against COVID-19 and preventing the development of a pandemic. It is essential to understand the factors that influence the decision to vaccinate or not vaccinate residents for a successful public vaccination campaign. Understanding the attitudes of young people towards vaccination against COVID-19 is of particular interest, since they often have not yet decided on their preferences and are open to changing their habits. The study of young people's attitudes towards vaccination (using the example of HSE students) was hold. The analysis was carried out on the results of two surveys – an intra-university survey on student life among HSE students and the authors' own survey, based on the methodology of discrete choice experiments to study the influence of the properties of the vaccine itself, the campaign, and socio-demographic factors on decision-making. It was found that such factors of the vaccine itself as the effectiveness of the vaccine, the presence of side effects, development (imported / domestic), reviews of loved ones and media opinion play a decisive role in determining the demand for vaccines, as well as the gender of the respondent, living conditions, degree education, etc.
