Armenian students are expected to apply to The “Advertising and PR” Bachelor’s Programme
“The days of the Higher School of Economics” took place in Erevan.
The “Advertising and PR” Bachelor’s Programme has already become one of the most in-demand educational programmes in Russia. International students are also displaying increased interest in studying at the Higher School of Economics.
International students are attracted by innovative, industry-oriented programmes, practicing professors, internships at large corporations, and high employment rate among HSE graduates.
The Department of integrated communications is faced with an important task – to give students from the neighboring countries a taste of an HSE experience before they start applying there.
During “The days of the Higher School of Economics” which took place in Erevan students from the leading local schools (Shyrakazi Lyceum, AYB School, Quant Gymnasium) were addressed by Maria Mordvinova (deputy chief of the Department of integrated communications) and Olga Afanasieva (vice-dean in charge of student applicants at the Faculty of communications, media and design).
Faculty members organized a master class session entitled “Immersion into profession” in order to give students a chance to feel like real “Advertising and PR” students.
This master class allowed students to discover industry terms, generate creative ideas, come up with slogans and logos, handle cases and solve problems. That’s how the students were able to playfully take part in a real class.
Students are especially interested in applying to HSE and receiving grants to help with tuition. Faculty members also informed students about academic Olympic competitions, scientific research contests and other international programmes of the university.
The students that we were able to meet are talented and highly motivated. They proved themselves quite well in the master class and excelled in the quiz. We will be more than happy to welcome such talented students from Armenia into our “Advertising and PR” programme. This programme will give them a chance to reach their potential and to benefit their country.
