HSE Organises Collection of Clothing for Charity
From November 25th to December 2nd, HSE University and the charity foundation ‘Lavka Radostey’ (Shop of Joy) will be collecting clothing and accessories in three HSE buildings.
The charity shop ‘Lavka Radostey’ was created 7 years ago, and stocks clothing and accessories donated by city residents and large retail chains. All funds collected will be used to support social projects. More than 50 charitable organizations in Russia cooperate with the store, including the ‘Sozidanie’ (‘Creation’) Foundation and the regional public organization for disabled people ‘Kovcheg’ (‘Ark’), Life as a Miracle’, as well as many others. Some items are given directly to those in need.
From November 25th to December 2nd, HSE staff and students can bring clothing to special ‘kind boxes’ in HSE buildings:
HSE on Pokrovsky Boulevard– in building R near the entrance;
HSE Complex ‘Basmannaya’ – near the cloakroom;
HSE Complex ‘Shabolovka’ – in building 4, in the cafeteria area.
Items that can be donated:
- Men and women’s clothing;
- Men, women and children's shoes;
- Souvenirs;
- Accessories, jewellery.
Please note that all clothing and shoes must be clean and in good condition without any holes or damage.
