Student Research Paper Competition 2023 Begins
On September 1st, a new season of the open Student Research Paper Competition (SRPC) started. This competition is aimed at developing the potential of university students who are interested in academic activities. Students, as well as 2023 graduates of Russian and foreign universities, can submit their papers for the competition until October 15th, 2023. This year SRPC turns 20 years old, throughout the competition’s history, Vadim Radaev, HSE University’s First Vice Rector, has been the chair of the organising committee. In today’s interview, he talks about the history of the competition and the key stages in its development.
Faculty Students Have Won the HSE Student Project Competition
In March the results of the third competition of student research projects 'Scientific Initiative' were summed up. Students of our faculty Ganetskaya Elizaveta, Surkova Daria, Filippova Anzhelika, Shestakova Anna, and Maksumova Zebo (EP Marketing and Market Analytics, Higher School of Business) won a grant for the development of their own project aimed at finding enzyme producers to destroy bacterial biofilms.

Eight HSE University Students Win Leaders of Russia Competition
The Leaders of Russia competition is the flagship project of the Russia — Land of Opportunity presidential platform. This year, 15,420 people signed up for the Student category of the competition, 127 of whom made it to the finals and 54 were named winners.
'We Want to Become a Research and Project University for Each of You'
HSE University Rector Yaroslav Kuzminov has welcomed first year students to HSE University. He told the newly enrolled students about the importance of wearing masks on campus, the autumn flu vaccination, as well as important changes in the educational process. The rector also congratulated them on starting their student life at HSE University.
Student Research Paper Competition 2020 Accepting Submissions
Any student or 2020 graduate of a Russian or international university is eligible to take part in the Student Research Paper Competition. Papers can be submitted from September 1 to October 15. The competition has been held at HSE University since 2003.

This June, first-year undergraduate students of the HSE Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology took part in an online seminar at George Mason University (USA). The seminar was part of the Coronavirus Research Update summer course, taught by Professor Ancha Baranova.
