Abstract

All undergraduate students in the 1st year undergo the Independent Digital Literacy Test, confirming the development of this competence. The Independent Digital Literacy Test is carried out using proctoring procedures, the duration of the exam is 60 minutes. The exam consists of a test and a practical part. The questions cover the following thematic blocks: information, algorithmic communication and technical literacy, digital security skills. In the practical part, the student must show their skills in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. The final result is translated into a scale from 1 to 10. A score below 4 points is rounded off with the fractional part dropped (to the smallest integer), a score below 4 points is rounded to the nearest integer. The absence of positive results of the Independent Digital Literacy Test within the established time limits entails academic debt.
