Korea Corner was established in HSE in 2018 with the support of Korea Foundation.
In Korea Corner there is accumulated a wide range of literature on a variety of topics including Korean language, Korea and other Asian countries studies. You can also enjoy a rich collection of Korean art and culture, such as Samulnori traditional musical instruments, Korean theatrical masks, Paduk board game and much more.
For the convenience of teachers and students, in addition to the book fund, Korea Corner is equipped with scanners and computers that have access to the electronic resources of the Kyung Hee University Library. Korea Corner also has a large TV for holding themed evenings and watching various films and videos. After such events, discussions are held.
Korea Corner works as a library open for everyone. Some books are available for the reading in Korea Corner only, some can be taken home for a period of three working days after filling out an electronic form..
Students can visit Korea Corner during their free time to prepare for their classes, have discussions and meet with professors. Provessors can visit Korea Corner to have tea or coffee breaks between classes and also, if necessary, prepare material for the classes. The manager Inna Kim is there to help both students and professors during her working hours.
