Students of the Program met with a delegation of Chinese students from Tsinghua University

On January 15, 2020, the Russian-Chinese student conference “Be grateful, serve the community” was held at the Museum of World Calligraphy, in which 2-year students from the program “Economics and Politics in Asia” took part.

The event was held in the framework of the joint statement of the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China on the development of comprehensive partnerships and strategic interaction, signed by the leaders of Russia and China in June 2019.

At the conference, the best students of Tsinghua University, participants in the project “Be grateful, serve the community,” met with students from leading Russian universities, such as: Moscow State University, Moscow State Institute of International Relations, Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Higher School of Economics, Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, Moscow State Linguistic University. Our university was represented at the conference by 2nd year students studying Chinese: Berezovskaya Denisa, Kolpakova Anastasia and Mokhova Ksenia.

Students from Russia and China asked each other questions related to various aspects of society: economics, politics, ecology, spiritual values, as well as the role of youth in solving modern problems, shared their impressions of Russia and China, exchanged views on the prospects for the development of Russian-Chinese relations.
