Course Syllabus

Abstract

The course "Spatial organization of the world economy" is included in the group of compulsory subjects for all students of the program "Geography of global changes and geoinformation technologies". The course aims to teach students to apply the methods of forming expert assessments to assess the impact of world economic processes on the development of individual markets and industries, as well as local communities. The objectives of mastering the discipline "Spatial organization of the world economy" are to: study the basic patterns of the functioning of the world economy; to determine the principles and regularities of the spatial organization of the world economy; form an idea of the methods and tools for analyzing the development of the global economic system. The knowledge gained by students as part of the course is necessary for further education in the educational program "Geography of Global Changes and Geoinformation Technologies", in particular the study of the disciplines of the direction "Public Geography and Spatial Solutions".
