ICEF HSE students among the best learners on University of London International Programme

The University of London has announced the academic results of University of London International Programme in 2018.

ICEF directorate and staff received HSE medals and notes of acknowledgement

On October 22, some university staff members were awarded HSE medals and notes of acknowledgement from the Rector. 

University of London shortlisted at education 'Oscars'

The University of London has been shortlisted for the International Impact Award at the 2018 Times Higher Education Awards, widely seen as the ‘Oscars’ for higher education. The University is one of best six entrants shortlisted in this category.

ICEF Graduates 2018 Show Top Results in University of London Exams

The University of London has published its exam results for 2018. According to these results, 196 ICEF Bachelor’s graduates will receive a University of London diploma, including 66 students (around 34% of ICEF learners), who will be getting degrees with first class honours.

Valeria Erokhina graduated this year from ICEF’s double-degree Bachelor’s programme. Before accomplishing this, she had already been approved by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development for the Eiffel Scholarship, which aims to attract the most talented international students to pursue Master’s and doctoral programmes in France. Valeria has already been admitted to the leading French business school Ecole des Hautes Commerciales du Nord (EDHEC Business School) for the Eiffel Scholarship and is getting ready for life in Nice. In the following interview, she describes what she expects from studying overseas, her future plans and what makes ICEF a unique place to study.

‘It is my firm belief that economics can really explain how the world works’

Ilya Ilyin was the winner of ‘Golden HSE’ award for the ‘Silver Nestling’ nomination in 2016. In 2017, he received his Bachelor’s with distinction from ICEF and First class honour’s degree from the University of London. He is now pursuing a PhD in Economics at Boston University. In the following interview, Ilya talks about why he chose ICEF, why purely academic pursuits can be a problem, and how to combine economics with philosophy.
