ICEF HSE Partners with Vietnam’s Leading University to Offer New Student Opportunities

In late August, ICEF HSE hosted a delegation from the Vietnam National University–University of Economics and Business (VNU-UEB), Hanoi.
The visit resulted in the signing of a student exchange agreement designed to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions.

From July 6 to 16, 2025, ICEF HSE hosted its inaugural International Summer School in Economics and Finance for students from partner universities. Thirty undergraduate students from China, Vietnam, Turkey, and the UAE joined their peers at ICEF for a programme that combined rigorous academic sessions with cultural immersion. The academic component was delivered by ICEF and HSE faculty, along with industry experts in economics and financial markets.

In early May, more than thirty students and staff of the HSE University, and among them Rector, competed in the Kazan Marathon. Its participants ran distances from 3 km to marathon and were on cheering points, offering words of encouragement that put a smile even on the faces of the weariest of runners. Among them was Andrey Okhlopkov, an ICEF student who curates the student organization LIFESTART.
