Internships

Internship  is a form of educational activities organization  in the development of an educational program in the context where students perform tasks related to their future profession and aimed at the formation, consolidation, development of practical skills and competencies in the profile of the educational program. Goals achievements and internships objectives are carried out through the implementation of elements of internship (EI). The implementation of internship for HSE students is envisaged in the curriculum module of the EI.

The procedure for organizing and conducting EI for students of Higher School of Economics is regulated by the Regulations on HSE Student Project Work, Research and Internships
The educational program "Marketing and market analytics" implements educational internship and pre-graduation internship for 4th year students.

The internship is regular and can be completed out in state, municipal, public, commercial and non-profit organizations, in departments (including basic ones) of Graduate School of Business and in other structural units of the Higher School of Economics, the activities of which correspond to the professional competencies mastered within the framework of the Management. Students can independently search for places of practice.

The organization of the internship in third-party organizations is carried out on the basis of contracts and / or agreements with these organizations, and can also be carried out on the basis of an offer-letter of consent from the organization on the provision of a place for internship,stating the student's full name and the internship period. The student is obliged to provide such a letter of consent BEFORE starting the internship.

Students who combine training with work activities have the right to undergo internships in organizations at the place of work in cases where the professional activities they carry out in these organizations meet the requirements for the content and planned results of the internship.
