Course Syllabus

Abstract

Discipline is implemented in the blended learning format: online «Social norms, social changes», followed by offline final exam Course prerequisites and formed competencies: The course is an elective designed for first year master students. The study of this discipline is based on the following disciplines: theory and methodology of modern psychology and cross- cultural psychology. The working language of the course is exclusively English, which includes teaching, presentations, and all communications. In order for the student to be able to benefit from the course, an excellent ability to write, comprehend, and speak in English is required.

  • The purpose of the course is to provide the students with a broad overview of the basic foundations explaining the social norms, the rules that glue societies together.

  • 1) Build skills in the analysis of the psychological phenomenon of moral lives. 2) Apply the knowledge about morality to the social problem solving.
