HSE University Will Not Increase Tuition Fees for the 2020-2021 Academic Year

HSE University is taking steps to support its undergraduate and graduate students during the coronavirus pandemic. The Rector has recently signed an order to that effect.

Despite the difficult circumstances that have resulted from the pandemic, the university will not be adjusting tuition fees for inflation in the upcoming academic year (2020/21), with the exception of four bachelor’s programmes run jointly with the London School of Economics.

In addition, students will now be able pay their tuition fees in installments. However, this option will not be available to students whose education is financed by a bank loan or a legal entity. First-year students will be able to switch to an installment plan only in the second semester of the 2020-2021 school year.

If a student wishes to pay their tuition fees in installments, they must send a request to their programme Study Office (the form can be found in the Academic Handbook) no later than August 20, 2020.

The paper form must be submitted before November 1, 2020.
