A lecture by Anna Shestakova: "Brain and commercials: fundamentals of neuromarketing"

Anna Shestakova, PhD is a head of Centre for Cognition and Decision making gave a lecture "Brain and commercials: fundamentals of neuromarketing" on 3rd of August on VDNKH in Moscow as a part of HSE programme "Neurotechnologies in science and life". 

The lecture was about how advancements in neurobiology help scientists and marketologists to better understand consumer's behavior. Anna described a number of neuroimaging studies of effects of commercials, price perception, buyers decision making, changes in clients opinions about the product. A number of questions were discussed, among which whether the purchases can be predicted from brain activity, which new methods are used in commercial' testing, wehter neuromarketing is a threat for a consumer.
