Join the Data Culture Team
In the world of data culture, you can also work: for money, credits, or practice — depending on what you do. You can:
- become a teaching assistant for money or credits;
- become an author or designer for the Data Culture channel for credits or practice.
Who are teaching assistants and what do they do?
In short: teaching assistants are the instructor's right‑hand people.
But that doesn't mean you'll be running for coffee.
Assistants hold regular consultations for students on course topics and the independent exam. They review students' final projects and help instructors during defences and exams, making sure there is no plagiarism or unauthorised AI use in any work. The instructor may also ask you to help keep the grade register and respond to students in chats.
How to become an assistant

How to become an author or designer
What authors do:
- write posts for the technology channel following the editorial guidelines;
- come up with topics for the content plan and track social media trends;
- collaborate with the design team.
Great if you:
- are passionate about technology;
- have experience writing short‑ and medium‑form content and can show a couple of examples;
- it would be great if you've worked with social media formats. If not — we'll teach you!
What designers do:
- create info cards based on ready‑made texts;
- communicate with the author team.
Great if you:
- work in Figma and can show a couple of examples;
- follow social media trends and know how to adapt them to the channel's theme;
- it's a plus if you've worked with social media formats.
