Course Syllabus

Abstract

The discipline is focused on substance and different models of digital economy functioning. Students will gain knowledge on what main technologies of digital economy are identified, developed, organized and implemented in the world and Russian organizations. The course includes topics covering different aspects of not only digital economy's main players efficiency evaluation, but, as well as, the different aspects of their integration. The discipline aims to provide students with the understanding how to generate, maintain, and develop digital technologies in organizations. Thus discipline also introduces students to the specifics of digital economy’s risks for traditional organizations. The course is aimed mostly at macro and meso level of business activities, though other fields of this very important part of economic and social life are also considered.

    The exam is to be held in oral form on the Zoom online platform. It is necessary to login according to the schedule of answers sent by the lecturer to students' corporate mail on the eve of the exam. Student’s computer should meet the following requirements: the presence of a working camera and microphone, support for Zoom. To participate in the exam, student is obliged to: upload a profile photo, turn camera and microphone on, come to the exam according to the exact schedule, when you answer, turn on the camera and microphone. During the exam it is forbidden to: turn off the camera, use notes and tips. If connection failure is less than a minute, It will be regarded as a brief connection break. If connection failure will be minute and more, it will be regarded as a longer connection break and will entail the exam cessation. The retake procedure is identical to the exam procedure.
