Course Syllabus
Abstract
This course is designed to provide an overview of various aspects of doing business in Europe (EU and non-EU countries). European business plays an important role in the global economy and Europe remains one of the main FDI locations. The knowledge of European economies and specificity of its entrepreneurship allows to understand business trends and setting not only in Europe, but also in the rest of the world.
The course focuses on European integration in global context, EU institutions and policies, specificity of doing business in Europe in EU and non-EU countries (sectorial policies and business practices, finance, taxation, marketing, competition, regional and cultural differences in management). The course provides analysis of country and business cases, including students group work and quiz solving.
