The author has attempted to create a currently missing model of support for "young" principals of Moscow schools. There is a gap between the well-established system of forming a personnel reserve and selecting managerial personnel in the Moscow city education system and the absence, despite the fact that the need for continuous development of pedagogical and managerial personnel is determined by the regulatory framework and theoretical framework, of an actual system of adaptation and support for newly appointed directors at the start of their managerial activities, which significantly reduces the pace of achieving targets This leads to the professional burnout of management personnel in the activities of Moscow schools. The analysis of literary sources allowed us to identify successful practices of accompanying newly appointed managers, both in the field of education and in the business sphere. A pre-project study was carried out, which identified the main problems faced by "young directors". Based on the results obtained, a comprehensive support model for "young" directors is proposed, including an assessment of the characteristics of the personal and motivational sphere, a preliminary assessment of real organizational conditions, professional adaptation and planning for further career development. Keywords: "Young" directors, continuity of personnel development, director support model, professional deficits, performance targets.
