This master's thesis examines tutoring as a form of secondary employment among full-time students. Students of pedagogical and non-pedagogical specialties are compared. The purpose of the study is to identify the features of tutoring among students. In the course of the research, the following tasks were solved: the regulatory framework governing the employment of students as tutors was determined; research directions in the field of student employment and relevant scientific publications on the research topic were identified.; The factors influencing students' choice of tutoring as a part-time job are determined; the motives of students and their perception of tutoring as a way of acquiring professional competencies are revealed. The results of the study show that the level of the educational program and the city of study are significant factors for choosing tutoring as a side job. Motivational differences were identified: students of pedagogical specialties strive to gain teaching experience and become independent, while students of non-pedagogical specialties are motivated by financial gain and personal interest in teaching. Tutoring differs from other forms of student employment due to its flexible schedule, the ability to choose a work format, and profitability. The study confirms that students perceive tutoring as a resource for developing professional competencies: future teachers emphasize communication and general pedagogical skills, while students of non-pedagogical specialties focus on the development of systematic and critical thinking. The results obtained can be used by educational institutions to develop information campaigns, monitor student employment, and improve curricula. The dissertation consists of an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion, two appendices and a bibliography.
