Influence of Russian-Chinese Cooperation on Development of Siberia and Far East

A major goal of the research was to undercover and evaluate the influence of participation of China in economy of Siberia and Far East on the social-economic development of these regions. A range of tasks, that were stated, includes analysis of governmental methods of regional development, analysis of current situation in terms of social-economic development of Siberian regions and regions of Far East. Evaluation of cooperation between two countries on the basis of a range of projects, and analysis of their influence on regional budget income and external effects are also among stated tasks, as well as forecasts of future development scenarios.By the identifying of crucial spheres in cooperation between Russia and China on the territories of Siberia and Far East, and along with the analysis of most demonstrative regions in certain spheres, mechanisms of Russian-Chinese cooperation were revealed. Also externalities were evaluated.Research also examined the prospects of future changes in terms of cooperation structure, as a result of changes in sides' demands, and realization of advantages of Siberia and Far East. This way, the research established a system of several future scenarios of regional development of Siberia and Far East by identifying potential threats of Russian-Chinese cooperation.
