The Evolution of Indian-American Relations at the end of XXth - Beginning of XXIst Century

The aim of the present paper is to analyze the dynamics of the India-US relations at the turn of XX-XXI century, in particular, at the present stage.To achieve this goal it was necessary to perform the following tasks : to examine the state of relations at the beginning of the period under review , follow the dynamics of the development of relations in the 1990s - early 2000s, and analyze modern India-US relations at the bilateral, regional and global levels .The main conclusion of the paper is that as a result of the qualitative shift that happened in Indo -US relations at the end of XX - beginning of XXI century, a cooperation is developing at the bilateral level today , but latent potential for conflict is present at the global level.
