Migration and Integration: the Analyses of the Economic Role of FRG Migrant-Workers

The research paper is devoted to the actual topic of the international migration process. The objects of this research are immigrants of Germany and their impact on the national economy. The subject of the research is external migration under conditions of economic transformation, globalization and integration. The main purpose, which was pursued by the author, consists in detailed analyses of the migration and integration policy, implemented by the German government, in order to estimate the economic role of labor migrants. For implementation of this purpose the author sets the following tasks:• To open the content of labor migration in system of social and economic development of Germany;• To analyze basic provisions and changes in migration policy of Germany;• To carry out the comprehensive analysis of the main characteristics of the immigrants arriving to the territory of country;• To reveal dependence between migratory and integration processes in Germany both the economic growth and position of the country on the world arena;The analysis of migration and integration policy of the federal government and the comprehensive analysis of the main characteristics of immigrants allows to draw the following conclusions:1. Migration policy is generally steered to the attraction of the qualified labor (introduction of "blue cards"), which makes an active contribution to development of a labor market and prosperity of the German economy.2. Germany - the country with record-breaking high flows of immigrants, now 20% of all population foreigners and persons with “migratory origin". 3. Within integration policy the government and specialized organizations provide sociocultural adaptation of immigrants, by creation of specialized courses for studying of German, culture and history is realized, and also consultations for immigrants on any questions. Moreover, they offer workplaces and professional training courses for integration of immigrants into the labor market. 4. Influence of immigrants on a labor market isn't direct, however the inflow of immigrants has positive impact on the economic environment and the main indicators characterizing development of a labor market, such as employment and salary. 5. The number of employed immigrants, who take part with systems of the social state insurance, constantly grows that testifies to a positive tendency.6. Every year the number of independent businessmen among the migrants establishing the companies of various size and legal form, grows. The increase in a share of small and medium-sized enterprises has positive impact on investment appeal of the country and promotes environment improvement.
