Russia - European Union economic cooperation on the Balkans

The paper is devoted to economic problems of the Balkans in the XXIst century. The role of Russia and the European Union in the region is reviewed. The author analyzes the process of European integration in a single country. On the basis of the paper the conclusion is made about the prospects for the cooperation of two sides in the countries of the Balkan peninsula.
