The Foreign Policy of “Middle Power States” under Conditions of Formation of New Regional Order in East Asia

This work dedicated to foreign policy of middle power states. The author applies the neorealism (structural realism) theory to analyze the formation of a new regional order in East Asia and relations between the U.S. and China as a major factor. Japan, Indonesia and Vietnam were chosen as an example of East Asian middle power states. In addition, author analyzed the factor of conflict and the factors of stability of East Asian sub-system of the international system in context of formation of new regional order.
