Adolescents on the tobacco market: socioeconomic aspect

<p>This paper is devoted to adolescents on the tobacco market (socioeconomic aspect). In the first chapter of the study the various factors ( socio- demographic, economic, marketing , individual characteristics) influencing the onset of smoking adolescents are discussed. Also there is variaty of measures which reduces and prevents underaged smoking. In the second chapter an analysis of the data obtained through the survey among students 13-16 years is presented. It turned out that the most significant factor affecting the initiation of adolescents&#39; smoking is the environment (peers, parents). The amount of pocket money got from parents does not affect the quantity of cigarette packs bought per month but has a strong impact on the quality of cigarettes consumed by teenagers. Market share of adolescents on the tobacco market is 9%.</p>
