The features of political regime of the Kuomintang on Taiwan from 1949 to 1986

From 1949, when the Kuomintang party moved to Taiwan and proclaimed the island Republic of China, to 1986 the political system of Taiwan become authoritarian system with its own peculiarities. Under this regime occurred the economic recovery. In order to realize the major political instruments of functioning of this state it is necessary to single out the main specific features of this political system.
