The Thesis concentrates on researching into the change of assessment of the Korean War by American public opinion during the war, based on the New York Times newspaper. The author detected, which events of the Korean War were widely publicized at the time of war, despite the fact, that they are not recognized as important in modern historiography. In the paper the author conducted an analysis of what terms and personalities stuck together in the newspaper.
