<p>The topic of this diploma paper is &ldquo;The Reflection of Fashion World in Russian TV Shows and Documentary Projects: the Problem of Language Description&rdquo;. At this point, in the scientific community, there is no research on the phenomenon of fashion projects on Russian television (or rather lack of it), so the fundamental basis of this work will be in-depth interviews with experts in the field of journalism, fashion, history of costume and television. Also in this study, in addition to an analysis of existing documentary and entertainment projects, as well as the print media about fashion, published in Russia at different times, the theoretical basis is needed in the form of textbooks on the history of journalism and works on the history of fashion.</p><p>The hypothesis of this paper is as follows: &ldquo;There are practically no Russian television projects that reflect the realities of the domestic fashion industry. This problem can be solved only with the assistance of the government&rdquo;.</p><p>The aim of this work &mdash; to study existing in Russia documentary and entertainment projects, reflecting the fashion world, to identify obstacles appearance of new projects about fashion on domestic television and in the movies. This objective involves the following tasks: to explore fashion periodicals in Russia in 20-21 century, to identify obstacles and background appearance of the first glossy fashion magazines, to analyze existing programs in Russian fashion and to identify challenges faced by the creators of such projects.</p><p>The relevance is in the fact that at the present time, the Russian fashion industry is actively developing and appears on the international level, however, a very small per cent of people in the country are aware of the fact that it exists at all, while the popularization of domestic fashion manufacturer is also required.</p><p>The structure of the thesis as follows: introduction , two chapters , conclusion , list of references (over 64 titles) , supplement.</p><p>The first chapter is devoted to the history of fashion in pre-revolutionary Russia , the Soviet Union and the Russian Federation, as well as its reflection in the periodicals of the time for women . The first section of the second chapter is a detailed analysis of all projects about fashion, existing on federal channels and channels that are included in the first and second multiplexes. In the second section of the chapter, we have analyzed the problems encountered during the launch of new projects, fashion , figured out why they hardly reflected the realities of the domestic industry , as well as revealed their development prospects and ways of solving problems.</p><p>The study stated hypothesis was confirmed only partially .</p><p align="right">Marina Zyomka</p><p align="right">445j&nbsp;</p>
