Despite the large body of knowledge on computer vision and significant progress on this area, in particular in detection and highlighting text in images, there are still a large number of local tasks. This work, describes the relevance of this field and the possibility of using the system highlight text on images, as well as prospects for the development of this technology. For the comparison, it contains the existing methods to solve this problem, advantages and disadvantages of them and upgrade options. Based on it, own approach to find a solution of this task is proposed and results obtained in the research process are a good foundation for the subsequent work. The work was presented at the annual student scientific conference "Information technologies in economics , management and business" conducted by the National Research University " Higher School of Economics " and was named the best in the section " Applied Mathematics and Informatics . Software Engineering ." Article in English, based on this work was presented at the annual international conference «SYRCoSE Software Engineering Colloquium», conducted by the Institute for System Programming of the Russian Academy of Sciences and received positive feedback from the reviewers. This work may be used for research or scientific purposes, since it will affect the formation of considerable scientific knowledge domain under consideration, as well as explore different approaches to solving the problem. In the future it is planed to improve the results and use them in applied fields. For example, in the future, there are plans to start work on the highlighted text and watching him in the video.
