Regulation of LIFE Insurance Product Marketing: International Practices

<p>This paper contains a research on regulation of life insurance product marketing and promotion. It focuses on the US market as it is one of the biggest foreign markets in the world. The paper contains an overview of the world insurance market and the russian insurance market at the beginning of 2014. The author provides a detailed review of the US life insurance marketing regulation system and practices and a brief desscription of its history. The practical part contains the analysis of 3 cases of the regulation violation and its consequences, also a descriptive analysis of two life insurance products, one russian and one american. Th author draws a conclusion on the possibilities of the development of russian life insurance marketing regultion system and a possible application of foreign practices.</p>
