Wave Functions for the Secondary Resonance in the Penning Trap

<p>This work presents mathematical model of the electromagnetic Penning trap in the secondary resonance case.</p><p>Frequency ratio for the primary resonance is 2 : (-1) :1 and the ratio for the secondary resonance is 0:1.</p><p>The equation in the&nbsp; L<sup>2</sup>(R<sup>3</sup>) space for wave function of the trap Hamiltonian is transformed to an equation in space of antigolomorphic function of single variable can be easily solved.&nbsp;</p>
