Introduction of 5S system in manufacturing enterprise

This work is devoted to features of a 5s system and its introduction in a manufacturing enterprise. As this system is a rather new tool, the main problem with which modern business faces, is complexity of introduction of a system 5S. The purpose of this work is development of the recommendations promoting introduction, maintenance and improvement of 5S system of Perm Engine Company.To achieve this goal it is necessary to solve a complex of interacting tasks:1 . to determine the essence of system 5S and advantages from its implementation;2 . to analyse the basic stages of introduction of this system at the enterprise;3 . to point out the peculiarities of using the concept in the Russian companies;4 . to consider features of development department of the production system in Perm Engine Company;5 . to analyse key documents and results of activity in the enterprise;6 . to observe behind process of realization of 5S system;7 . to estimate results;8 . to develop recommendations.In the course of this work it was found that the successful implementation depends not only on stage- by-stage implementation of activities within the system, but also on carrying out support activities such as training, including the motivation and evaluation of the work area. We should also mention the importance of a systematic and comprehensive approach on a daily basis of all employees (main workers and managers), which will enable the company to reach a new, higher level of production. The consideration of this issue from a practical point of view, namely, analyzing the results from the implementation, showed that this system really changes the manufacturing process in a better way: to reduce the time of searching for the tool, the number unfinished products, the production cycle, reduce the waiting time. Observation and direct participation in realization of this system showed all complexity of this process, and allowed to reveal the main limiting factors which were shown not only from employees, but also from the enterprise.The results of this research were actions and the developed methodical recommendations for introduction of this system in enterprise activity. Researchers assume that realization of the offered actions and use of methodical recommendations will help to reduce the organizational questions from employees, to reduce the number of mistakes during the implementation of this system, and also to increase of interest of employees not only in maintenance, but also in improvement of organization system. Thus, it is possible to tell that the conducted research matters not only for researchers, but also for the enterprise.
